Articulate Rise 360
(video snapshot below)

This online course was developed after revamping an in-person airport certification course. The following design choices were made:

  • Improved regulatory comprehension through intentional design

  • Transformed passive content into guided learning

Scroll for explanations and examples below.

Improved regulatory comprehension through intentional design

The static slides were redesigned into motion-backed micro-videos embedded at the start of each module.

Each video visually reinforces required Part 139 on-screen regulatory language while clearly connecting objectives to real-world application.

IMPACT

By introducing compliance requirements at the moment of relevance, learners reported greater clarity and retention, and instructors noted stronger engagement and understanding during in-person training sessions.

Transformed passive content into guided learning

The original in-person course relied heavily on bulleted lists outlining topics employees would later encounter in external training courses.

The static lists were transformed into short “Things” videos, visual narrations enhanced with contextual explanations and supporting details.

This approach shifted the content from passive reading to guided understanding, helping learners better anticipate upcoming training while reinforcing meaning.

IMPACT

Rather than scanning disconnected lists, learners engaged with narrated context that clarified why each topic mattered and how it connected to their broader learning journey. This redesign increased instructional consistency.
