The Risks of Shadow IT title slide.

I identified Shadow IT as a potential organizational risk. Rather than waiting for the topic to surface formally, I conceptualized and developed a Shadow IT awareness video designed to clarify what Shadow IT is, why it poses risk, and how well-intentioned behavior can unintentionally expose the organization to security and compliance vulnerabilities.

IMPACT:
This solution-oriented approach helped shift the conversation from restriction to informed choice, supporting a culture of accountability while respecting operational realities. The project was later shared with leadership and recommended for inclusion in the team’s media portal as an ongoing learning resource.
